You’ll be floored by Hatfields’ vast selection of rugs all displayed in our beautiful first floor showroom. We have 100s of designs available, in all colours, patterns, shapes, textures and sizes from all over the world.

From custom-made and modern designed rugs to traditional and oriental designs, there is a rug and floor covering for every home.

A large majority of our rugs are made from 100% wool and some are hand made by craftspeople from some of the world’s most remote regions.

Our magnificent selection of rugs are hardwearing and designed to last, as well as remaining comfortable, decorative and of the highest quality.

Rugs allow you to add an instant reflection of your personality to any room, injecting style and colour to your floor. Adding comfort underfoot, rugs are both practical and aesthetic, dividing rooms where necessary, adding to design themes and simply protecting floors from furniture or areas of heavy wear and helping to cancel out noises on wooden floors.

Plus, if you’re really unable to choose something you like from the collections displayed in-store, you can turn designer and create your own rug with Hatfields’ clever software, or Crucial Trading’s easy-to-use rug builder.

WHAT TYPES OF RUGS ARE THERE IN-STORE?

Machine Made

The high quality machine made rugs shown in-store use quality yarns, together with the latest technology to produce both modern and traditional designs, some with influences from the orient.

Luxury Hand-knotted

Produced by master weavers and designers, many of these beautiful and ornate pieces are handmade and hand knotted. We display a unique range of quality oriental rugs in an exciting range of colours and designs, from small and medium to large scale sought after pieces.

Choose from either our rich traditional hand knotted Agra’s, or from our extensive Persian range. In addition Afghanistan, Indian, Pakistan and Turkish rugs, offer unique and exotic.

Please note that as many of these rugs are bespoke and handmade, colours and patterns may vary, as each hand knotted rug is unique and the pricing will reflect this!

Tufted

A process offering a quicker and less expensive option than hand knotting. These produce a pile formed from a tuft of thread fixed in place with a latex and fabric backing.
